In der Bildersammlung des Museums der Stadt New York (http://collections.mcny.org) habe ich eine Serie von Zeichnungen entdeckt, die alle aus den ersten drei Jahrzehnten des 20. Jahrhunderts stammen. Sie bieten Einblicke in das Alltagsleben der Bewohner von New York zu jener Zeit. Die Zeichnungen stammen von John French Sloan, dessen Gemälde ich hier vor gut einem Jahr vorgestellt habe. Auf weitere Erklärungen verzichte ich mal, da die Bildbeschreibungen eigentlich alles sagen.
